Sheila Brothers and Roxanne Marchand are managing partners of we have no life Productions, LLC. They have been writing screenplays in almost every genre together since 1997.

The original screenplay, The Penny, was honored by Young Films and Publishing/Easton Books and was published in short story form in 2007 in the book “Family Movies Hollywood Didn’t Make But Should”. The book was re-released Spring 2008.

They also wrote the original screenplay, "I Wish!" which is currently optioned by Visceral Films.

Sheila and Roxanne are part of the writing team for the television series "Port City P.D." which is currently airing on the BSkyB network. They have also written the horror film, "Butchered" which is now complete and awaiting a release date with Anthem Pictures.

we have no life Productions produced two award-winning films that passed through the film festival circuit including,  "I Do?" and "Undoing Time." The duo is currently part of five projects in development.

Whether individually or within the company, Roxanne and Sheila take pride in the quality, professionalism and integrity that they insist be a part of every project they are involved with.

Sheila Brothers

Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, Sheila Brothers' credits are not just in the writing arena. She has co-directed and produced the award-winning short films by we have no life productions , "I Do?," and "Undoing Time" as well as co-directed the feature film, "Butchered."

Sheila is a managing partner with Eleven Bravo Productions (Butchered, Port City P.D.) and is also a producer for the multi-award winning production company, Hank and Jed Movie Pictures.

Sheila is owner of Casting In The Carolinas, a service to all East Coast filmmakers and actors.

Sheila currently serves as board member for two festivals: the Cinema City International Film Festival in Los Angeles, CA and the Final Cut Film Festival in Wilmington, NC.

Most importantly, Sheila is a proud mother to her beautiful 7 year-old son, Truman. 

 

 

Roxanne Marchand

Roxanne Marchand has lived in New Orleans her entire life and has had a fascination with the world of entertainment since she was a young girl. She wrote, directed and starred in her first play at the age of 8 and has continued to pursue her dream ever since.

 In addition to we have no life Productions, Roxanne is also the co-founder of Closed Door Pictures which was conceived in 2008. The main goal of the company is to bring together a strong network of people in the industry who want to promote, create and produce quality independent films as well as concentrating more on local talent and crew.

Roxanne has several projects in development for 2009 and 2010 including the New Orleans sci-fi thriller The Waters, an original screenplay written, co-directed and co-produced by Roxanne.

The inspiration, creativity, and energy that is found in everything she does begins with her two beautiful children, Tristan and Emali, and is supported by her wonderful family and friends.
